Centenary

Get involved and help us celebrate our centenary on September 29th 2010. We will holding a number of events over the year looking back at 100 years of Pontypridd Y.M.C.A. but also looking forward to our second centenary. Throughout 2010 we will have a wide variety of events celebrating the fantastic achievements of people who have used the Y.M.C.A. over the years. Come along and find out what your family and friends were doing all those years ago at the Y.M.C.A. Events agreed so far:

February 26th 2010 5.30pm - 7.00pm Launch of the Centenary Exhibition. Schools around Pontypridd have been working hard to create pieces of art based on the history of the Y.M.C.A. Come and see the finished pieces

5th March 2010 International Women's Day. We will be celebrating this with a Community Arts event of performance dance, taster sessions, stalls and cakes. Tickets £5.00.

April 16th 2010 50's Night. Dig out your blue suded shoes and Rock 'n' Roll.

May 21st 2010 60's Night. Whatever the 60's meant to you, Beatles, Flower Power come and dance the night away.

July 2010. We will be celebrating dance with performances from groups using ghe Y.M.C.A. and local schools.

September 29th 2010. A reunion to celebrate the Centenary - come along and meet old friends.
