Purpose

We wish to develop a "Building for Growth" - i.e. providing a building that supports the growth of its users' health and wellbeing and supporting them to meet their full potential. To do so Pontypridd Y.M.C.A. will endeavor to achieve the following vision, mission and values.

Vision

Pontypridd Y.M.C.A. is a hub for the community, welcoming all. Working in partnership we provide a supportive, welcoming atmosphere for fun, learning and wellbeing.

Mission Statement

Pontypridd Y.M.C.A. provides facilities for a thriving community encouraging growth, respect and friendship in a supportive atmosphere.

Values

Our building is open to people of all ages, who will be valued and treated with dignity and respect, embracing the principles of equality and participation.

Aim

To be a hub for services and activities that enables all ages to grow and meet their potential.

Objectives

• By 2012 implement 2 projects that will enable all ages attending the Y.M.C.A. to grow, meet their potential and secure their wellbeing.
• By 2012 work will be undertaken to improve the fabric of the building.
• By 2012 Pontypridd Y.M.C.A. will achieve a quality standard award.
