CENTENARY ART PROJECT - FEBRUARY 2010

Maes Y Coed Primary Trerobart Primary Whilst at the schools, the artist presented the children with some examples of other artist’s work and conducted a brief discussion on the aesthetic and cultural significance of their art practice. They were then asked to consider a number of design options for their own artwork and execute using archive photographs as their primary reference source. Each piece underwent a number of manifestations as the sessions progressed until finally the desired result was achieved. The artist then returned the work to his studio where he added some finishing touches.
